Newsletter #3 - October 2026
Hi everyone. Thank you to the 300 or so of you who have now registered for Adelaide Nash Hash 27. It’s going to be a great event.
However, we need a lot more of you to register to make it an even better event – one where we don’t have to cut things out to balance the budget. If you want better food and drinks, better stuff in your goody bags, more shuttle buses and run options plus better entertainment then please register now if you haven’t already – and get your hash friends to register too!
To encourage you a bit we’re keeping the Early Bird rego price of $420 until the end of November, after which it will go up to $450.
Closer to the event it will go up again for late regos.
At the moment we have two possible timetables for NH27 Sunday 2 May – one assumes everyone does a recovery run or walk and with one band after lunch, and the other opens the club earlier with an extra band for those not doing the recovery run or walk, followed by a second band after lunch. The option chosen will depend on final rego numbers.
If you have problems creating an account on the website and then buying rego and/or Red Dress tickets, please read the FAQ - and if that doesn’t help contact rego@adnashhash.au.
Adelaide is famous for its beautiful parklands surrounding the city and North Adelaide. Our main venue, the Slovenian Club is a great venue. It is only 2.5km from the northernmost edge of the parklands. It’s closer than you think to the city. It’s easily accessible by public buses and trains. And we might even have late night shuttle buses back to the city if we can afford it.
With a nod to Adelaide’s reputation as a city of churches, the theme for the Saturday night party will be Vicars and Tarts. Those dressed up as either won’t be turned away by security at the Club gates – provided you are wearing a NH27 wristband as well!
As you have probably heard, the Red Dress Run will be from the Austral Hotel on Rundle Street in the CBD. The good news is that there will be a band playing just for us at the after party.
The Harriette’s Lunch on Friday 30 April is looking good with 79 signed up already. Get in now ladies if you want to join them!
Local Hashers Buddha and Who Gives have agreed to be the local organisers for the Wednesday 100kg Run and the Friday Men’s Lunch respectively.
Please contact us if you have a Hash Act or if you’re willing to help set a run or run a circle. And we’re still waiting to hear who is bidding for Nash Hash 2029!
On On,
Chesty
